CONVEYOR SYSTEM
The single pass conveyor is a straight through design using a CB5 belt material. The belt is driven from the discharge end of the oven and the belt take up takes place at the feed end of the oven. The take up mechanism incorporates weights attached to the feed end roll which maintain a constant tension on the roll while keeping the roll alignment parallel with the belt travel.

The belt is supported on the top pass by steel support bars. On the return side the belt travels over multiple sets of alignment rollers which are adjustable and assure proper tracking of the belt. The conveyor is driven by a variable speed drive which is synchronized with the entire line.

OVEN STRUCTURE
The oven frame will be constructed from mild steel and painted which will support the oven casing. The casing will be constructed of stainless steel and is fully insulated. Removable panels are provided down one side of the oven to provide access into the oven for maintenance and cleaning Six vent openings are provided at either end of the oven with separate exhaust fans for each opening to provide positive draft control in the oven. Stacks are supplied. All bearings are located outside the heat effected zones for long bearing life.

COMBUSTION SYSTEM
The burners will include a series of pressurized premix burners with an FM multi-burner supervising cock system, continuous ignition system and a modulating motor to control the firing rate of the bottom burners. Ribbon burners are used both below the belt and above the product zone to toast the top surface. The top burners operate at a fis=xed firing rate during production or at a low fire position during idle periods. All the combustion system components are mounted and piped on the oven except the combustion air blower which may be remotely located. Interconnecting ducting to the combustion air blower is not furnished. The natural gas fired combuston system is designed to operate on 100% pre-mix, allowing for the sealed oven operation.

TOASTER OVEN FLAME MONITORING SYSTEM
In place of FM supervisory gas cocks, the Toaster Oven can be furnished with FM approved flame monitoring relays and individual gas solenoid valves. Each burner may be controlled on an individual basis.

The flame monitor system contains an igniter-sensor which is a solid state module and provides high voltage electrical spark to ignite the burner. When the flame is lit the flame is detected by the principle of rectification proving presence of the flame and shutting off the ignition. The module used the same rod to ignite the flame as it does to detect the flame presence. Another feature is a flame strength signal output that can be used to fine tune the burner adjustments.

Unit is equipped with on/off switch and flame indicating lights and is located in close proximity to each burner. Step down transformers are provided by Heat and Control. Flame Monitor relays are mounted and pre-wired to terminal strips on the oven.

MOTORIZED STACK DAMPERS
Two (2) motorized stack dampers for control of exhaust is provided with a rheostat control mounted in the control panel.
