  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Gradually stir in flour until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans.
  6. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and make a small indentation in each cookie.
  7. Fill each indentation with caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
