Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until combined.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, making a small indentation in each cookie.
- Fill each indentation with caramel sauce.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
Notes
Allow cookies to cool completely before storing to prevent the caramel from sticking.
