For the Crust:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness and rub with olive oil. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165Β°F. Add cheese slices during last minute of cooking.
- Toast buns lightly on the grill.
- Mix mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl. Spread on the bottom buns.
- Assemble sandwiches with lettuce, grilled chicken, and tomato slices. Serve immediately.
