Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
- 1/2 cup apple pie filling, chopped into small pieces
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
- Separate the biscuits and flatten each one into a 3-inch circle.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the chopped apple pie filling in the center of each biscuit circle.
- Gather the edges of the biscuit around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush each ball with melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
- Place the balls in the air fryer basket, seam side down, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a more intense apple flavor, you can add a pinch of apple pie spice to the cinnamon sugar coating. Be sure to chop the apple pie filling into small pieces so it’s easier to seal inside the biscuits.
