Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs

These Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs are a fun and easy way to enjoy the flavors of apple pie without all the work! They are made with canned biscuits, apple pie filling, and a cinnamon sugar coating.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
  • 1/2 cup apple pie filling, chopped into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Separate the biscuits and flatten each one into a 3-inch circle.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of the chopped apple pie filling in the center of each biscuit circle.
  4. Gather the edges of the biscuit around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Brush each ball with melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
  7. Place the balls in the air fryer basket, seam side down, leaving space between them.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a more intense apple flavor, you can add a pinch of apple pie spice to the cinnamon sugar coating. Be sure to chop the apple pie filling into small pieces so it’s easier to seal inside the biscuits.
