Baked Brie in Puff Pastry with Honey, Fig, and Prosciutto

A decadent appetizer featuring brie cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry, topped with sweet honey, dried figs, and savory prosciutto, baked to golden perfection.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 6 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 (8-ounce) wheel of Brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. Place the Brie wheel in the center of the pastry.
  4. Drizzle the honey over the Brie, then sprinkle with chopped figs and lay prosciutto slices on top.
  5. Fold the pastry edges up and over the Brie, sealing the edges with the egg wash.
  6. Brush the entire pastry with the remaining egg wash and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the prosciutto. Pair with crusty bread or crackers for the best experience.
