- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 (8-ounce) wheel of Brie cheese
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup dried figs, chopped
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Place the Brie wheel in the center of the pastry.
- Drizzle the honey over the Brie, then sprinkle with chopped figs and lay prosciutto slices on top.
- Fold the pastry edges up and over the Brie, sealing the edges with the egg wash.
- Brush the entire pastry with the remaining egg wash and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, omit the prosciutto. Pair with crusty bread or crackers for the best experience.
