- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually blend in flour mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For chewier cookies, use bread flour instead of all-purpose. *Store in airtight container for up to 5 days. **Freeze dough balls for up to 3 months – bake from frozen, adding 1-2 minutes to baking time.
