- 2 pounds beef sirloin tips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef tips with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef tips and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Remove beef and set aside; add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir to coat.
- Slowly add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Return beef to the skillet and simmer for 45-60 minutes until tender.
- Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
Notes
For a thicker gravy, add more flour as needed. Pairs well with vegetables.
