Bourbon Pecan Brie Bites

Southern-inspired phyllo cups filled with creamy brie and topped with bourbon-glazed pecans. An elegant make-ahead appetizer perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted.
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon.
  • 1/4 cup roasted chopped pecans.
  • 8 ounces round of brie.
  • 1.9 ounces package frozen mini phyllo shells (15 shells).

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix brown sugar, melted butter, bourbon, and pecans in a small bowl.
  3. Remove brie rind and cut into 1/4-inch cubes.
  4. Place one brie cube in each phyllo shell.
  5. Top each with 1/2 teaspoon bourbon pecan mixture.
  6. Place on baking sheet and bake 10 minutes until brie melts.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Make double batch – they go fast.
Can be frozen up to 3 months.
Phyllo and filo shells are the same.
Various toppings can be substituted.
