- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel (8 ounces) brie cheese
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- Optional: Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Place the brie wheel in the center of the pastry and spread the apricot preserves on top.
- Fold the pastry edges up and around the brie to form a box shape, sealing the edges with the egg wash.
- Brush the entire pastry with the remaining egg wash and chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a festive touch, tie a ribbon around the baked pastry before serving. Pair with crackers or fresh fruit.
