Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the potatoes out on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and tender, stirring halfway through.
- While the potatoes are roasting, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt.
- Season the steak cubes with salt and black pepper. Add the steak bites to the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Once cooked, remove the steak bites from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the butter steak bites alongside the garlic herb potatoes.
