Butter Steak Bites with Garlic Herb Potatoes

Tender steak bites seared in butter and served with crispy garlic herb potatoes.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Spread the potatoes out on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and tender, stirring halfway through.
  3. While the potatoes are roasting, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt.
  4. Season the steak cubes with salt and black pepper. Add the steak bites to the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. Once cooked, remove the steak bites from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Serve the butter steak bites alongside the garlic herb potatoes.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality steak and fresh herbs. Adjust seasoning to taste.
