Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot.
  2. Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Add cabbage, carrots, celery, and bell pepper; cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, broth, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30-40 minutes.

Notes

This soup is great for detoxing and can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
