- For the tart:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- For the glaze:
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced pears and brown sugar, cooking until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Roll out the puff pastry into a circle and arrange the caramelized pears in a wreath shape on top, leaving a hole in the center.
- Sprinkle the blue cheese over the pears and bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden.
- Remove from the oven and brush with honey glaze, then sprinkle with fresh thyme.
