- 2 ripe pears, sliced
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add sliced pears, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until pears are caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into snowflake shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Fill the center of each pastry shape with ricotta cheese and top with caramelized pears.
- Brush edges with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a festive touch, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
