Cheesecake Stuffed Baked Apples

A delicious fall dessert featuring baked apples stuffed with a creamy cheesecake filling and topped with a crunchy streusel.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 large apples (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Core apples, leaving the bottom intact to hold the filling.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth. Spoon mixture into cored apples.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, butter, and pecans to make streusel. Sprinkle over filled apples.
  4. Place apples in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until apples are tender and topping is golden.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.
