Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil the chopped cabbage for 5-7 minutes until tender; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the diced onion until translucent.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cooked cabbage, sautéed onion, shredded cheese, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
