Cheesy Garlic Ranch Potatoes with Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 ribeye steaks (about 8 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and tender.
  4. While potatoes are roasting, season the steaks with salt and pepper, then grill or pan-sear for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  5. Remove potatoes from oven, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and place the cooked steaks on top.
  6. Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steaks in garlic and herbs for 30 minutes before cooking.
