For the Crust:
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, dried cherries, and walnuts. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle white chocolate chips on top if using.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
