Cherry Marshmallow Fudge Bars

A delightful dessert combining rich fudge, sweet cherries, and fluffy marshmallows for a perfect treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in flour until just combined. Fold in chopped cherries.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows evenly over the top. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until marshmallows are puffed and golden.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
