Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolk and water; mix until dough forms. Press into a pie dish.
  4. Bake crust for 15 minutes or until golden. Let cool.
  5. In another bowl, combine ricotta, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour filling into cooled crust.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
