For the Crust:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Prepare cake batter by mixing cake mix, oil, eggs, and water until smooth.
- In separate bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
- Fill cupcake liners halfway with chocolate batter, then add 1 tbsp peanut butter mixture to each.
- Top with remaining chocolate batter and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream to make ganache, then drizzle over cooled cupcakes.
