- 14 cups stovetop popcorn.
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter.
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar.
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup.
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Red and green food coloring.
Instructions
- Divide popcorn between two large bowls.
- Preheat oven to 250°F, grease two 9×13 pans.
- Boil butter, brown sugar, corn syrup for 3 minutes.
- Add baking soda and vanilla.
- Divide caramel, add colors separately.
- Pour over popcorn, toss to coat.
- Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
Work quickly before caramel sets.
Stir while baking for even coating.
