- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup additional chopped walnuts for coating
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped cranberries, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into a ball shape and wrap it in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Before serving, roll the cheese ball in the additional chopped walnuts to coat the outside evenly.
- Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.
Notes
This cheese ball can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a spicier version, add a dash of cayenne pepper.
