Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup additional chopped walnuts for coating

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped cranberries, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into a ball shape and wrap it in plastic wrap.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  4. Before serving, roll the cheese ball in the additional chopped walnuts to coat the outside evenly.
  5. Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.

Notes

This cheese ball can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a spicier version, add a dash of cayenne pepper.
