- 16 ounces (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped and toasted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Pinch of salt
- Additional walnuts and cranberries for rolling
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped cranberries, chopped walnuts, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well combined.
- Scoop the mixture into small balls using a tablespoon or cookie scoop.
- Roll each ball in additional chopped walnuts and cranberries for coating.
- Place the cheese balls on a plate or tray, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Serve chilled with crackers, fruit, or vegetables.
Notes
These cheese balls can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a nut-free version, substitute walnuts with pumpkin seeds.
