- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Pinch of salt
- For coating:
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until smooth.
- Stir in the cranberries, walnuts, cinnamon, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- In a shallow dish, combine the coating walnuts and cranberries.
- Roll the cheese ball in the coating mixture until fully covered.
- Serve with crackers or bread.
Notes
Can be prepared up to 2 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For added flavor, use smoked cheddar if preferred.
