Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • For coating:
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until smooth.
  2. Stir in the cranberries, walnuts, cinnamon, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. In a shallow dish, combine the coating walnuts and cranberries.
  6. Roll the cheese ball in the coating mixture until fully covered.
  7. Serve with crackers or bread.

Notes

Can be prepared up to 2 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For added flavor, use smoked cheddar if preferred.
