- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup minced green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Additional chopped walnuts and cranberries for coating
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add shredded cheddar, chopped cranberries, chopped walnuts, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into a ball.
- Roll the cheese ball in additional chopped walnuts and cranberries to coat.
- Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve with crackers or vegetables.
Notes
Make ahead and refrigerate up to 3 days.
For extra flavor, toast the walnuts before mixing.
