- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening.
- 1/2 cup butter, softened.
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract.
- 4 cups confectioners sugar, sifted.
- 2 tablespoons milk.
- Green gel food coloring.
- Yellow sugar stars.
- Candy balls.
Instructions
- Prepare and bake cupcakes per box.
- Cream shortening and butter.
- Gradually add sugar, then vanilla and milk.
- Add green food coloring.
- Pipe frosting in tree shape.
- Top with stars.
- Add candy ball ornaments.
Notes
Use 1M piping tip.
Build frosting gradually.
Can make cupcakes ahead.
Decorate just before serving.
