- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sugar and salt, stirring constantly until it reaches 300°F.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
- Pour onto baking sheet, spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips, let melt, then spread.
- Top with nuts, let cool and harden.
- Break into pieces and serve.
