- For the sausage patties:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sage powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- For the breakfast potatoes:
- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the eggs:
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- For the sausage patties: In a bowl, mix ground pork with salt, pepper, sage, and thyme. Form into 8 patties. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- For the breakfast potatoes: In a separate skillet, heat vegetable oil. Add diced potatoes and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and crispy.
- For the eggs: In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add egg mixture and scramble until just set, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve the sausage patties, eggs, and potatoes together for a complete breakfast.
Notes
Use ground pork shoulder for best flavor in the sausage. Potatoes can be pre-boiled to reduce cooking time. Fresh herbs can be substituted for dried.
