For the Crust:
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Add parmesan cheese, cayenne pepper, and oregano. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss until well coated in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
