For the Crust:
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, soak chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours).
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne, Parmesan cheese, and ranch seasoning.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
- Fry tenders in batches for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
