For the Crust:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
