Cranberry Pistachio Goat Cheese Ornaments

Festive goat cheese balls coated in cranberries and pistachios, perfect for holiday appetizers or parties.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened goat cheese, honey, and salt until well combined.
  2. In separate bowls, place the chopped cranberries and chopped pistachios.
  3. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the cheese mixture and roll them into balls.
  4. Roll each ball first in the cranberries, then in the pistachios to coat evenly.
  5. Place the coated cheese balls on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

These ornaments can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a variation, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cheese mixture.
