- 8 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened goat cheese, honey, and salt until well combined.
- In separate bowls, place the chopped cranberries and chopped pistachios.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the cheese mixture and roll them into balls.
- Roll each ball first in the cranberries, then in the pistachios to coat evenly.
- Place the coated cheese balls on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve chilled, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
These ornaments can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a variation, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cheese mixture.
