- 2 cups dried breadcrumbs
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs, cranberries, ground turkey, onion, garlic, sage, salt, and pepper.
- Add the beaten egg and chicken broth to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the balls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground turkey with mushrooms or lentils. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
