Cream Cheese Cinnamon Sugar Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with softened cream cheese.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Roll up the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a baking pan, brush with melted butter, and bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
