Creamy Banana Pudding Cheesecake Bars

A creamy dessert combining the flavors of banana pudding and cheesecake in bar form, perfect for a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • Banana slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  6. Add the mashed bananas and vanilla extract to the pudding mixture, then fold in the whipped topping.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust, then top with the pudding mixture.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  9. Garnish with banana slices before serving.

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas and chill the bars overnight. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
