Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Stir in uncooked rice and chopped cilantro.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot in bowls.
Notes
For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños or chili powder to taste.
