Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
- Stir in uncooked rice and beef broth; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is tender.
- Add chopped cilantro and heavy cream; stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot in bowls.
Notes
For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños.
