Creamy Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli and Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; add broccoli during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken strips to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
