Creamy Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into bites
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, adding broccoli in the last 2 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and broccoli with the sauce, toss to coat, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
