For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place chicken breasts in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then coat each piece evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy.
