For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring well.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Drizzle half the hot fudge sauce over the batter and swirl with a knife.
- Add remaining batter, then top with remaining fudge sauce and chocolate chips. Swirl again lightly.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
