Chocolate Covered Pecans

Buttery roasted pecans dipped in rich chocolate. A simple yet elegant treat perfect for gifts, holidays or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pecan halves.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed.
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
  • 20 ounces dark or milk chocolate melting wafers.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spread pecans on baking sheet, top with butter.
  3. Roast 5 minutes, turn to coat with butter.
  4. Add salt, roast 5-6 more minutes until done.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Microwave chocolate in 30-second intervals until melted.
  7. Dip pecans in chocolate, remove excess.
  8. Place on parchment paper, let harden 45 minutes.

Notes

Use dry tools only.
Great gift option.
Store in airtight container.
Keep tools completely dry.
