Easy Juicy Cherry Cobbler Bars

A simple and delicious dessert with a buttery crust and juicy cherry filling.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cherry pie filling

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until the dough comes together.
  5. Press half of the dough into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the crust.
  7. Crumble the remaining dough over the cherry filling.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
