Elegant Pear and Gorgonzola Flatbread

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
  • 1 large ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush flatbread with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Spread caramelized onions evenly over the flatbread. Arrange pear slices on top.
  3. Sprinkle Gorgonzola cheese and walnuts over the pears.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  5. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle fresh thyme leaves before serving.
