For the Crust:
- 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
- 1 large ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 1/2 cup caramelized onions
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush flatbread with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Spread caramelized onions evenly over the flatbread. Arrange pear slices on top.
- Sprinkle Gorgonzola cheese and walnuts over the pears.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle fresh thyme leaves before serving.
