- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and turns into a golden caramel. Pour into a flan mold and swirl to coat the bottom.
- In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, melted chocolate chips, chopped Ferrero Rocher, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the caramel in the flan mold.
- Place the mold in a larger baking pan and fill the pan with hot water to reach halfway up the sides of the flan mold.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- To serve, run a knife around the edge and invert onto a plate.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. Ensure the flan is fully chilled before unmolding.
