Blue Cheese, Walnut & Thyme Puff Pastry Twirl

Flaky puff pastry meets creamy blue cheese, toasted walnuts, and fresh thyme in this stunning pull-apart twirl.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 100g blue cheese (crumbled)
  • 50g walnuts (toasted & chopped)
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle. Brush lightly with olive oil, leaving a 1-inch border.
  3. Sprinkle blue cheese, walnuts, thyme, salt, and pepper evenly over the pastry.
  4. Roll the pastry tightly from the long edge into a log. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
  5. Arrange slices spiral-side up on the baking tray. Brush with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
