For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 100g blue cheese (crumbled)
- 50g walnuts (toasted and chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle. Brush lightly with olive oil.
- Sprinkle blue cheese, walnuts, and thyme evenly over the pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly from the long side into a log. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Arrange rounds on the baking sheet, slightly overlapping. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed. Serve warm.
