Fluffy Cottage Cheese Cloud Bread

A light and airy bread made with cottage cheese, perfect for low-carb diets or as a gluten-free alternative.

For the Crust:

  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, blend egg yolks, cottage cheese, salt, and honey (if using) until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the egg whites until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6 even mounds.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.

Notes
