- For the Brownie Layer:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- For the Cheesecake Layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, melt the butter and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla for the brownie layer.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the brownie mixture and mix until combined.
- Spoon the brownie batter into the muffin cups, filling each about halfway.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth for the cheesecake layer.
- Top the brownie batter in each cup with the cheesecake mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
